World Book
World Book Kids
Giant otters live in holes in the banks of creeks and streams. They are fine swimmers.
World Book Student
The North American otter lives in burrows along the banks of rivers and feeds primarily on fish and crayfish. The animal is a swift and graceful swimmer but moves awkwardly on land.
The top picture is from World Book Kids and the bottom picture of the otter is from World Book Student. The student edition offers more detailed information about otters than the kids edition. It also includes the scientific name.
World Book Advanced
The primary sources on the right side bar are very interesting. I do like the outline on the left for easy navigation within the country's information. World Book Advanced could be a nice way to familiarize yourself with a topic before trying to research it.
World Book Discover
This edition includes a translator so that a patron who doesnt speak English fluently can get the information displayed in their native language.
World Book Online Reference Center
This seems to be the same as World Book Advanced to me.
World Book Foreign Language Edition
This would be very useful for patrons who do not speak English as a first language. They would be able to access the information in a language they understand.

Hi, Becky, Welcome aboard the Challenge bandwagon! You have reported the main differences between the various World Book modules, and yes, Online Ref. Center articles are the same as Advanced. Please note that all World Book modules offer translations, read-aloud, and double-click dictionary. I hope you will take a moment to look at the special features each offers, such as Kids' World of Animals, which is appropriate for all ages. Thanks for participating!
